Product Description

Bootstrap Farmer started from a a small family farm in Eastern NC where we grew our own produce for a farm-to-food truck concept. Our focus has been growing vegetables and herbs in our high and low tunnel greenhouses.

While growing our farm we noticed many things that could be done more efficiently and cost effective. Many greenhouse materials were of very low quality and poor construction. After hopelessly searching the market for better materials we started manufacturing our own.

We have a passion for supporting our local farmers and providing our local community with healthy and sustainably grown food.

Greenhouse Plastic Installation

Easy Attachment

Greenhouse covering easily attaches with any method. We recommend using spring wire and lock channel from Bootstrap Farmer.

Sizing your width

The best way to find the correct with is to measure the arch of your greenhouse. If that is not practical follow these guidelines.

  • Count number of poles used to build your greenhouse
  • Measure length of 1 pole when flat
  • Multiply length of 1 pole by number of poles per arch
  • Add 2 times the height of your ground posts.
  • Add about 4 feet extra for any mis-measuring and for roll up side use.

Measuring Length

  • Measure length of greenhouse
  • Add 2 times the height of your greenhouse to cover endwalls
  • Add an extra 2-4 feet
